How to view app download history on the Play Store on any Android device
By following these steps, you can easily view all the apps you have ever installed on your Android device.
- Launch the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap on your account icon.
- Tap on “Manage apps and device”.
- There will be 2 sections: Overview and Manage.
- Tap on manage.
- You can find the list of all apps and games you have ever installed on your Android device.
- Furthermore, you can even filter the list to see only the list of apps currently installed on your Android device, and you can also see the apps you’ve installed in the past but are presently uninstalled from your device.
- In addition, you can see the list of apps that need to be updated, and update all of them at once in the overview section.
- You are also allowed to see a separate list of all the games you’ve ever downloaded on your Android device.
- And of course, you can sort all the apps/games by their name, most used, least used, recently updated, and size.
Managing your app download history on the Play Store on any Android device
The Play Store also allows you to manage your app download history. Here are a few things you can do:
Delete the App Download History on The Play Store
If there are apps/games you no longer want to see in your download history, you can remove them. To do this, select the apps/games you want to remove, tap on the delete button, and then tap on the “remove” button to delete them permanently from the app download history.
Likewise, to delete the entire app download history on the Play Store, select all the apps and then tap the “remove” button. Selecting each app manually is tiresome, especially if there are a lot of apps in your app download history. But that’s how it should be done for now because Google removed the “All” button to select all the apps in a second.
Reinstall Apps From Your App Download History on The Play Store
If you’ve previously downloaded an app a few months ago and uninstalled it after a while, but want to reinstall it, you can do so from here as well. Tap the app you want to reinstall, then proceed to install it as you would normally install any app.
You can also reinstall multiple apps at a time. To install multiple apps at a time from the app download history, select those apps you want to reinstall, and click the download button at the top right corner of the screen.
Conclusion
The Google Play Store provides an easy way to view and delete the app download history on Android devices. By following the steps outlined in this post, you can not only easily access your app download history but also manage it. Whether you want to remove apps from your history or reinstall previously downloaded apps and games, the Play Store makes it easy to keep track of your app downloads.
